Santa Cruz County submits COVID-19 vaccine plan to the state – KSBW Monterey

The Santa Cruz County Public Health Division has submitted its COVID-19 vaccine plan to the California Department of Public Health.According to county health officials, the first batch of vaccines may be delivered as early as the week of December 14. That batch would be reserved for hospitals. “The Public Health Division cautions the public that widespread distribution may not occur for several months, and urges everyone to continue wearing face coverings and practicing social distancing,” said the agency in a release to the press.
